Board Members Approve Iran-Japan Commerce Chamber Logo

Members of the Board of Directors of Iran-Japan Chamber of Commerce held a meeting to discuss a couple of subjects including the decision on the logo.
The meeting, which was hosted by Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture on Tuesday, November 28, was chaired by Hossein Selahvarzi, chairman of Iran-Japan Chamber of Commerce.
Majority of the board members including Bahram Shakouri (vice-chairman) and Dariush Kayvan (vice-chairman) agreed on the logo of the chamber and they also discussed other matters such as appointment of the secretary and the staff of the secretariat as well as upgrading the website of Iran-Japan Joint Committee into the website of the chamber.
The Iran-Japan Joint Committee was legally and officially replaced by the Iran-Japan Chamber of Commerce in May 2023. As a national, non-profit and non-governmental organization, the chamber is set to pursue the goals and tasks such as expanding relations between the industrial owners and businessmen of Iran and Japan in the field of trade, industry, services, agriculture, mining, tourism and other related matters.
Meanwhile, the majority of the present board members, which also included Kamyar Montaser, the treasurer, and Bobak Abedin decided to set up a working group that would follow expansion of business and commercial ties with Japan by arranging business trips to important Japanese expositions and vis-à-vis. Shakouri, Kayvan, Montaser and Aliakbar Abdolmaleki, the chamber’s inspector, will be the members of this “Expo Working Group”.
The board members, which met for the second time since the chamber was established, are going to have a regular monthly meeting.
